Vegefest is an annual event in Prague that is arranged in the Vysehrad Castle. It will be for the 10th time in 2020, and it is getting more and more attention. It is very important to understand that Vegefest isn’t a festival for vegetarians only, as the festival give a lot of focus also on the topic of sustainable living. Some of the topics that will be covered in the different workshops during the festival are permaculture, zero waste, alternative sources of energy, and other similar cultures. These are very interesting and very important topics in today’s world, making this a place worth visiting, also for meat-lovers like us (Prague Guide editors).
As a visitor to the Vegefest, you can buy tasty vegetarian food, or maybe drink some biological and vegan smoothies or other drinks. But, do not forget to check out the different workshops to learn more about living an alternate life that is better for yourself, your surroundings, and for the universe itself.
There is an entrance fee to enter the festival area, and it will cost 100 CZK. Included in the entry fee is the necessary cutlery which is made of bamboos.
