Prague Evening Run (Birell 10k)

Prague is beautiful by day, but it is even more beautiful by night. Are you ready to run 10km while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Prague by night? Come to Prague for the Prague Evening Run, also known as the Birell 10k Race.

Several cities have running competitions in the evening, and it is a well-known fact that the so-called Budapest Night Run is a fantastic event similar to Birell 10k in Prague. This competition is as the name says about running 10km as quickly as possible. The best runners are able to do so in less than 30 minutes, but it is much more common to end the race in approximately 60 minutes or more.

If you aren’t in a hurry, this is a fantastic opportunity to see the most famous attractions in Prague after sunset. In other words, you can see the bridges, the castle, and other sights beautifully illuminated while running in the Czech capital. Doesn’t that sound amazing?

Prague Relay

Are you ready to enter a running competition in Prague together with your friends or colleagues? The Prague relay gives you a chance to do exactly that. There are two competition days in which you can participate in the general competitions (four people together). There are also dedicated competitions for people working in banks, and in the medical industry, and there is also a competition dedicated to people working as diplomats, consulates, and at embassies. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

The Prague relay takes place over two days in the Czech capital in early summer. It is a wonderful way to have fun with your friends and colleagues, and it takes relationships to a whole new level as you prepare together for the race and then run the race together. And even more important, as you sit down and drink a cold Czech beer to celebrate after the competition it gets even better!

The Prague relay is only one of many running competitions in Prague every year. The most popular events are the Prague Marathon and the Prague Half-marathon, but the relay and the popular women’s race in September are also fantastic events for those who want to explore Prague while running.

The relay consists of 4 runners and each runner has to run a total of 4,8km.

Prague Women’s Race (5km)

Are you ready to run without having to think about all those slow men standing in your way? Come to Prague for the 5km race, only for women. This is the biggest race in the Czech capital only for women, making it a fantastic event. Instead of running, the men and the boys will stand next to the track cheering for you. Doesn’t that sound great?

Official name: Adidas Women’s Race.

It is always wise to register for the event as early as possible. You will get the best price if you register early. Don’t forget that Prague is a wonderful city, so make sure to book a hotel for several days so that you will have time to discover the beautiful attractions in the city and do all the cool activities of Prague, besides running the fantastic women’s race in the beautiful surroundings of Prague’s old town.

Prague Marathon 2017On May 7th in 2017 it is time for the annual Volkswagen Prague Marathon in the beautiful city of Prague. Are you interested in running?

The Volkswagen Prague Marathon has been an event going on since the middle of the 1990s, and it is said to be one of the most beautiful marathon races in the world. Not only is it amazing to run, but you run among some of the most beautiful attractions available in Europe. The race itself starts from the Old Town square, you will see beautiful attractions, and during the race you will even be able to run across the Charles Bridge.

Prague MarathonOne of the most interesting and most charming city in Europe without any questions is Prague. Prague is the capital and also the largest city of the Czech Republic and it is often called the ‘Golden City’. On May 3rd in 2015 it is time for the annual Prague Marathon again in this beautiful city!

Prague gives home to some of the most beautiful cultural attractions which attracts thousands of people from all over the world. Alongside the attractions in the city plenty of various programs and activities are waiting for the visitors during the whole year. One of the most popular event in the life of the city is the Prague Marathon. The annual Prague Marathon is an international sport event which is considered one of the best marathons in Europe. Every year the Prague Marathon takes place around the Prague Spring Festival. The race starts at the Old Town Square in the heart of the city and leads around the most beautiful spots and narrow streets of the city including the famous Charles Bridge. After the runners cross the Charles Bridge the race sneaks through the Old Town and crosses the Vlatva river several times. The race also goes through the modern part and areas of the city and it ends at the Old Town Square again. The Prague Marathon is all together 26 miles which mostly leads through flat course. This year the International Prague Marathon will be held on 3rd May in 2015 and the race starts at 9 in the morning. The main goal of the marathon is to finish the race within 7 hours.
